INSTA-BLOG - previews of the unblogged

Well, normally part 1 comes before part 2 but in this case we had to reverse the order…just as good though. Here is my absolute favorite shot from the wedding, taken by Ayinde.

You can see the rest of the Album on our Facebook page.

Simply awesome!!! This is a beautiful picture. I love it when a photographer can capture the softness of groom/husband.

Ephraim & Anna – Portrait Session

Windsor Golf Club, Nairobi, Kenya
06 Apr 2012

More 2011 weddings:

My trip to Kenya to shoot Ann & Ephraim’s wedding ;

17 hours of flying, stuck in south Africa for a night, flight delayed on the way back, stuck in South Africa for another night, 17 more hours of flying, missed my connecting flight because of the delay, had to buy new ticket. Oh…and State of Emergency declared in Trinidad before I got back.

Three words…ALL WORTH IT.  Never have I been to wedding where there was such community and a clear sense of purpose. The couple didn’t just get married they made a clear commitment to build something significant and to be a part of such an honourable thing I would fly for 42 hours again.

Some from their portrait session.

Greer & Stuart – Part two

Chaguramas Golf Club, Trinidad
05 Apr 2012

More 2011 weddings!

Two stellar sisters, THREE great weddings. This just happens to be wedding 2 of the three. Greer & Stuart. Greer & Stuart are so cool man, I mean, I wish all our brides could be like that (Everyone else, we still love you) Greer was a reminder that things can only get better. We enjoyed every bit of her two weddings and just to mention, where she was getting ready had some of the best natural lighting we’ve ever shot in and we tried to stay true to that in the editing.

This wedding was shot mostly by Ayinde, and I LUV IT.

OK, so if you have a hankering to comment on an image or like it were actually doing a DOUBLE POST…one here one on our facebook page here. https://www.facebook.com/relatestudios.

Enjoy!

Daniel & Catherine

Bacolet RC & Stone Haven Villas, Tobago
28 Mar 2012

Another great wedding from 2011. We really have thank Catherine’s mom Ruby for checking us out way in advance and sticking with us even when we thought the inquiry would remain an inquiry. You could tell that Ruby really cared about the photography and both parents cared about seeing their daughter happy. Thankfully for us, that care did not manifest in Parentzillas as it sometimes does. (“whew!”)
From the bride and groom, to the bridal party, to the family and guests, everyone was great!
Also, we got to work with Jaime Lee Loy and her great Cinematography team from homestudio on this one. Good times.
